Job Description

Invenia Group is partnering with a leading oncology biotechnology company using trailblazing technologies to expedite the speed and scalability of drug discovery.


We are searching for a Senior Scientist to join their growing biology team.


Role responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies for mechanism of action studies
  • Work to identify preclinical biomarkers
  • Manage external partners and CROs
  • Design, develop and execute various cell-based and molecular assays and experiments


You will have:

  • Experience with HTS, CRISPR and/or RNAi
  • Ph.D. and 2-3+ years of industry experience within drug discovery
  • Experience in managing CRO/external partner relationships
  • Experience mentoring, managing and/or training junior scientists is desirable
  • Experience with cell-based and molecular assay development and techniques (including but not limited to: western blot, transfection, flow cytometry, potency assays, qPCR, immuno-fluorescence)
