Job Summary

  • Support Southwest Business revenue growth through reporting, forecasting, and collaboration with key stakeholder. Leverage data analysis to provide actionable insights and meaningful trend analysis that drive action. Team with peers and Leaders to execute timely, actionable, and highly visible/complex projects with an emphasis on alignment, accuracy, innovation, and tool development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop insight driven reports and dashboards that help Seniors Leaders make informed decisions based on relevant KPI’s
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and be able to lead and/or assist in evaluating options and alternatives to ensure business needs are met in a timely fashion
  • Perform analysis to quantify, analyze, and determine route cause analysis of revenue trends/drivers
  • Support Executive-level updates, translating analytical results into presentable formats for all levels of management, emphasizing recommendations and key insights to drive revenue-generating behavior
  • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders
  • Identify and draw insights from complex data sets, supporting projects and initiatives as directed by Leaders
  • Partner with peers and other Teams within Southwest Business to source relevant content and accurate data for Southwest Business reporting
  • Communicate insights to partners to develop strategies that drive Southwest Business revenue, ensure absolute accuracy in analytical modeling

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to listen, understand, and communicate ideas presented in writing and/or in speaking with others
  • Ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to leverage advanced analytics and forecasting to build innovative models or overhaul existing models that drive insights
  • Ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem
  • Preferred experience with SQL
  • Skilled in collecting, organizing, visualizing, and assimilating data which may also include turning raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software
  • Preferred experience with Alteryx
  • Skilled in identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
  • Ability to quickly make sense of, combine, and organize information into meaningful patterns
  • Preferred experience with Tableau

Education

  • Required: High School Diploma or GED

Experience

  • Data: Working with large data sets, manipulating raw data, performing advanced analytics, and crafting actionable insights
  • Data visualization: Displaying data in a concise and easily digestible format for Leadership and stakeholders
  • Forecasting: Leverage advanced techniques to help predict future results and insights
  • Advanced-level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in:
  • Communication: Ability to communicate with Senior Leaders and tell the Southwest Business revenue story in a concise and compelling manner

Physical Abilities

  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
  • Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986

Pay & Benefits:

Competitive market salary from $97,750 per year to $108,600 per year* depending on qualifications and experience**. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
