Senior Project Manager, Product Development

Overview

Humanscale, an industry leader in innovation and environmental stewardship, is seeking an experienced project manager with expertise in product development to support our team of engineers and designers. The ideal candidate will have experience working in large teams and successfully deliver high-value innovation initiatives on time and on budget. This role will be responsible for supporting cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensuring successful completion of consumer facing products in a premium segment.

Responsibilities

• Manage communication with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Identify potential risks and issues in the project and proactively develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and sustainable practices.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Support cross-functional teams (various product categories and various engineering departments) to develop and launch new products in the market.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the entire development process.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to drive innovation and sustainable product development.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of delivering high-value innovation initiatives on time and on budget.
• Deep interest and knowledge in sustainability practices and product development.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in project management with a focus on product development.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Understanding of high quality and consumer facing solutions.
• Fluency in development of mechanical components, value engineering and electronic products.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree required; degrees in engineering, product design, or a related field a plus.
• Experience with Agile and/or SCRUM tools, or similar project management methodologies a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing large teams of engineers and designers.
• Strong communication, creative problem solving and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Salary Range: $99,018.93 - $144,429.75
