Product Development Coordinator, Women's, Kid's, And Accessories

The Product Development Coordinator works closely with the design, production, and development teams to ensure the products meet customer needs and that they align with the company's overall strategy. In order to succeed in their role, they must have experience in product development, leadership skills, decision-making skills, research skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Communicates with the production team to ensure that the end product is properly executed.
• Will manage the product development calendars, making sure that they are being met on time.
• Work closely with internal teams including tech design and production to ensure smooth product flow.
• Assist in preparing the costing paperwork for approval and costing breakdown for submission to the sales/merch.
• Monitor the product development process; managing progress in terms of sample developments, pricing confirmation, color, and testing approvals, etc. until the style gets adopted for production.
• Develop trim requirements, if needed.
• Be proficient in our PLM systems, making sure that all information is fully updated.
• Responsibilities include maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers. Creating WIPs of proto, sms, and pre-production samples.
• Be able to analyze technical spec sheets and communicates with overseas factories for the execution of samples.

Experience:

• He/She/They must be organized, professional, detail-oriented, and a good team player.
• Be able to work under pressure.
• Professional in oral and written communication skills.
• Internships or entry-level positions in Product Development (0-1yrs)
• Must have above-average aptitude in Analytical, Organization, Detail Oriented, Problem Solving, Planning, Follow-Up, Project Management, and Time Management.
