What You Will Be Doing:

We are looking for a Project Manager to support the planning and execution of electrical and software engineering projects for the development of Amogy's ammonia-to-electricity powerpack technology.

• Define and manage plans for new electrical systems and control software product development projects
• Ensure inter-team coordination and communication as well as engagement with external collaborators
• Work closely with the Electrical and Controls functional teams to execute project deliverables
• Assist with equipment sourcing for electrical components given system requirements
• Create and maintain detailed budget and schedules for electrical systems and control software projects and present to stakeholders
• Coach technical leads on project management best practices and ensure all projects are tracked accurately

The minimum requirements we seek:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment
• Strong knowledge of project tracking software system such as MS Project or Jira
• 5+ years of work experience in technical project management pertaining to embedded software development, industrial electrical systems, or power systems
• Strong record-keeping and organizational skills
• Demonstrated experience in the management of electrical engineering and product development projects
• BS/MS in a relevant technical field (e.g., electrical or software engineering)

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with high, medium and low voltage systems
• Experience managing projects in the aerospace, automotive, chemical, or maritime industries
• Project management professional certification
• Experience with fuel & energy conversion devices (engines, fuel cells, reactors, turbines, etc.)
• Experience with industrial electrical systems ( i.e. switchgear, DCS, IAS, PLC'S)

The salary pay range for this position is $135,000 to $150,000. The salary pay range is applicable to positions physically based in New York City. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, job experience and physical location.
