The Company

I’m recruiting for a Project Development Manager on behalf of an international developer who is expanding their US development footprint.

Our client has been in operation for over 15 years, operating across 4 continents and has delivered more than $1 Billion worth of Photovoltaic projects during that time.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing PV solar projects and all the development processes. The primary responsibility of this role will be to coordinate and manage pre-construction development of PV solar projects. Your duties will include management and coordination of all project due diligence, permitting, interconnection, and engineering activities. You will manage relationships with landowners, legal, suppliers, consultants and internal teams.

Your Responsibilities may include:

· Developing an existing portfolio of solar PV projects

· Maintain clear and concise communication with management on all development activities

· Attend permitting hearings with local communities, in person and via video conference

· Working with land acquisition agents to secure new sites

· Build strategic relationships with development, finance, and EPC partners

· Permitting

· Interconnection

· Community Engagement

· Handover to the construction team

You will have:

· Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in solar PV development management

· Strong personal and written skills

· Proven track record of project management & land development
