The Company :

Our client is an EdTech scale-up in the K-12 and summer camp industry who are investor backed having raised Series A funding. They operate across the United States.

The Role:

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager who can lead a sizeable team of Junior Program Managers and Program Coordinators. They are looking for somebody who is personable, friendly and can remain level headed during high pressure situations. They also would like to see candidates who have experience working with young children either in a classroom or after school environment.

You will report into the VP of Operations.

Responsibilities:

• Resolve all issues across all San Francisco sites
• Work with marketing team to drive program registrations
• Liaise regularly with management team regarding performance
• Create learning and development opportunities for instructors
• Manage weekly program scheduling
• Coordinate staff changes across all school sites
• Ensure that your team are implementing and following school policies and best practises
• Train and onboard program instructors
• Visit school sites and confirm all programs are going as planned

Qualifications:

• Experience managing programs across multiple sites/locations (at least 8)
• At least 3 years experience as a manager or team lead working with children
• Problem solver who can see a problem, take initiative, follow through to resolution
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills, particularly in interactions with parents, children and staff
• Knowledge of how to structure and conduct programs for young children
