Looking for Senior Payroll Analyst with 5-7 yrs experience to support all aspects of payroll operations in the AMER region. Resource will process ADP Canada Payroll for 1,200 Canadian employees using ADP Workforce Now. Canadian payroll experience and ADP Workforce Now for Canada is must. Candidate must have experience in processing payroll for large scale employer (>1,000 employees). Candidate will collaborate with external payroll providers and internal business partners to deliver an accurate and compliant payroll. Additionally, you will be supporting the implementation and maintenance of payroll application systems, developing best practices and documenting business requirements.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively address all levels within the organization
  • Ability to independently research and interpret policy guidelines and regulations
  • Experience with ADP, Workday and other Payroll & HR platforms
  • Self-starter with exemplary organizational, time management, and planning skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-pasted work environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar field PREFERRED
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work cohesively in Remote Team dynamic sharing knowledge and promoting a positive work environment
  • 5+ years of experience in Payroll Operation
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office experience


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Benefit Team to manage benefit deductions, leave of absence payments, and benefit arrears
  • Assists with reconciling W-2's and other year-end activities
  • Assist with and answer questions in relation to external and internal audits
  • Processing off-cycle Expense Reimbursements
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local payroll, wage and hour, tax laws and best practices
  • Adhere to internal SLAs for employee and internal business partner Service Now AskHR payroll inquiries
  • Assist with projects such as system upgrades, M&A integrations, employment technical analysis, payroll configuration and automation
  • Promote standardization and continuous improvement of payroll operations
  • Maintain online source documentation for historical reference and internal audit
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data provided to internal and external partners
  • Adhere to payroll standard operating procedures and internal key financial controls
  • Collaborate with Equity Stock Administration Team to process all equity related transactions via payroll and ensure timely deposit of tax liability
  • Prepare and analyze large 6k plus USA Workday Payroll or 1k plus Canada ADP Workforce Now payroll operations Biweekly Full Cycle Payroll
  • Design and document internal procedures to ensure data consistency for ease in analysis
  • Facilitate and participate in UAT to ensure process solutions are accurate and stable
  • Analyze and reconcile data input to identify potential errors, propose solutions, and engage directly with stakeholders to achieve resolution
  • Interact directly with stakeholders such as Employees, HR, Legal, Finance, and Vendors
  • Processing off-cycle payments for terminations by timely preparing and administering final checks within regulatory guidelines.
  • Process manual tax adjustments, quarter-end adjustments, and year-end adjustments
  • Perform other payroll relevant duties as assigned
