Cognosante is looking for a motivated, hands-on Organizational Change Management (OCM) Specialist with strong management, client engagement, logic and interpersonal skills who is up for the challenge of joining a high-performing team. As a OCM Specialist, you will serve as a primary point of contact with client, project team, technical and business-oriented staff. Working closely with the Project Team, the OCM Specialist will lead and manage the Change Management activities and operations for a large complex Project Management Office (PMO) program which includes governance and IT standardization across a large organization.

Helping a large organization to understand the goals which their executives are aspiring to and how achieving those goals will affect the organization is vital to the success of the program. Cognosante provides advanced and proven tools and methods to assist in this process. Some of the key qualifications that are required for the OCM Specialist and the team are listed below. This position relates directly to many of these qualifications:
  • Putting in place a strong Communication Plan
  • Developing and implementing change management strategies and plans
  • Support for training initiatives
  • Providing coaching to team members and client executives
  • Structured methodologies for IT and Data Analytics
  • Identifying and implementing activities that maximize adoption rates and the speed of adoption
Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the Cognosante PMO team and authorized stakeholders to assist in the application of structured methodologies and change management activities.
  • Work with the Cognosante PMO and the client to devise a comprehensive Communications Plan.
  • Ability to obtain a public trust clearance is required.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to business processes based on applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Consult and coach team members and the client.
  • Provide proactive feedback to team members and stakeholders concerning possible issues or areas of improvement.
  • Oversight and reporting to management and client for Organizational Change Management (OCM).
  • Develop and complete Change Management Assessments.
  • Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge, awareness, and understanding of company policies and procedures, goals, and objectives.
  • Lead team members and stakeholders to anticipate and manage changes to projects, such as but not limited to, technical requirements, business requirements and schedule.
  • Knowledge, understanding, compliance, and enforcement of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations relating to job duties.
  • Liaising between the PMO team, executive sponsors, and key business and technical stakeholders.
  • Work with the client and authorized stakeholders to describe and document the vision for the organization and identified projects.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline plus 12 years’ Change Management and/or Process Improvement experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Broad and deep knowledge of Organizational Change Management
  • Advanced degree
  • Prosci® Certified
  • Excellent analytics skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Federal, State or Provider Health Care Policy and Federal Agencies (e.g., HHS, CMS, CDC, etc.) is a plus.
  • Thorough knowledge of medical and insurance terminology is a plus.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified.
Compensation
$156,015.95 - $249,629.77
The pay range for this job is determined by various factors, including but not necessarily limited to location, responsibilities of the job, and alignment with market data. When determining a salary for this role, the following factors may will be taken into consideration - contract-specific affordability, education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience. The estimate displayed represents the salary range for this position and is just one component of Cognosante’s total compensation package for employees and is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, nor a promise of any specific pay for any specific employee.
