  • Ensure we have ‘best in class’ media operations programs including global program governance, scaling operations, managing the full production cycle, and strategic planning across multiple international sites for Airbnb (including Homes, Experiences, and beyond).

  • Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners globally to manage the end-to-end media operations and creative production programs including videography and professional photography both pre-and post-production.
  • As an analytical thinker, you research all possible outcomes and make recommendations to your stakeholders.
  • You’ll give and take feedback well, learn from your mistakes and operate with a growth mindset.
  • You enjoy digging into details yet can also think strategically and interact with senior leaders.


A Typical Day


  • Refine, scale and manage the end to end partner media operations programs for the Scaled Operations team.
  • Help design and implement actionable feedback loops with which we can encourage and enable continuous improvement.
  • Lead and facilitate innovative quality initiatives by developing a deep understanding of key business requirements and maximizing value from vendor partners.
  • Capturing professional photos and videos, conducting, editing and producing quality photos and videos.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design and Marketing teams to create and refine requirements for media operations scope (i.e. host portrait requirements).
  • Create powerful storytelling frameworks and concept standards to be applied globally for both Airbnb produced, as well as user generated content.
  • Manage relationships with key vendor quality POC’s to ensure quality standards are being met in media operations projects.
  • Contribute to strategies and implement industry best practices into our existing photo and video programs.
  • Create and manage our help center content for professional photography and videography programs.
  • Bring to life creative briefs, user guides, and training materials for photographers / videographers and media operations third party vendors.


Your Expertise


  • Team player: You enjoy collaboration and know how to develop productive relationships with partners
  • Analytical capabilities: You build your own reports and leverage data and metrics to track program progress and make informed decisions
  • Experience working with tools like Adobe Creative Products, Final Cut Pro, Avid, Apple Keynote, Google Docs, Asana, and Airtable
  • Very adaptive to change, and flexible as work changes often and we pivot between periods of intensity, down time, and switching between priority projects
  • 8+ years of experience in program management and creative production in relevant industries with hyper growth and fast paced environments
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You can be trusted to speak for and represent the global media operations team. You seamlessly present ideas and project proposals to all levels of the business. You are proactive and navigate ambiguous situations with confidence and know the right situations in which to raise a red flag to your leadership team
  • Growth mindset: You give and take feedback well, learn from your mistakes and operate with a growth mindset
  • Knowledgeable about MAM Systems, Knowledge in scaling video and export resolution, compression, frame rate
  • Domain expertise: you’ve got deep knowledge and experience in creative production for videos – specifically short films, trailers, reels, and social content – including pre-production / planning, production, and post-production / editing, with quality control / review
  • Program management: have experience leading end-to-end programs and managing matrixed teams to deliver on concepts and creative assets
  • Problem solving and resourcefulness: People will come to you with problems that they can’t solve and look for guidance. You research possible outcomes and proactively make recommendations to your stakeholders. You understand how to prioritize across multiple projects
  • You enjoy digging into details and operating at the lowest level, but can also think strategically and interact with senior leaders
  • Technical Audio capabilities: audible audition, audio recording tools

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. How We'll Take Care Of You


Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.


Pay Range


$125,000—$147,500 USD
