Borton-Lawson , a Verdantas is a national consulting group seeking a talented Production Lead. This is a remote position.
You will have the opportunity to perform, lead, and supervise functions for PVT projects while ensuring a successful and efficient production. Leads each project in an effort to exceed client expectations while developing the team's skills and qualifications.
Responsibilities

• Develop WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) and ensure successful execution
• Assist with budgetary estimates by providing technical information
• Ensure Project understanding with effective process documentation
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, isometrics, process & instrumentation diagrams, and bills of materials
• Provide project status reports, completion tracking, and backlog updates
• Assist in the preparation and/or monitoring of weekly schedules to ensure the timely completion of the work
• Responsible for the QA/QC within project execution
• Apply knowledge of engineering principles to meet project requirements
• Management of direct reports with team management, recognition, conflict resolution, and corrective action
• Develop a strong understanding of project technology and the ability to efficiently complete technical tasks
• Establishes and maintains standards for projects, client, and vendor activities
• Effectively track and stabilize projects, implement solutions to obstacles, and ensure client goals are achieved
• Lead the development of plans, bills of materials, and other deliverables

Qualifications

• Familiar with Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks
• The ability to work nights and weekends as required to attend meetings or to meet demanding project schedules
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2-4 years of experience managing a production team or;
• Associates degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university
• Proven ability to manage in a remote environment
• 3D modeling experience
