Our Opportunity
Chewy, the fastest growing e-commerce retail businesses in the market today, is a seeking Full-Time motivated and confident individual to join the team and help us to continue our mission of making the world a better place for pets, our partners who care for them, and the communities that serve them. Our Chewy Pack team delivers a work environment that is engaging, efficient and provides meaningful moments and experiences for our Chewtopians. This role will report to our Onsite Events & Community Outreach Manager.
The ideal candidate will want to WOW the customer, have a passion to drive onsite team engagement, and a strategic approach to raise the Chewy bar delivering meaningful moments and experiences for our onsite team members.
What You'll Do
  • Support community outreach events execution, as needed.
  • Drive new processes or ideas to help build efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the customer experience.
  • Operate with a willingness to learn. We share feedback, we get feedback, and we operate in a culture of being open-minded to grow.  Many of our Team Members have grown into other roles and leadership positions, so having a long-term career focus is ideal.
  • Support onsite with Events in partnership with various stakeholders (Life@Chewy and Evergreen events), for successful team engagement experiences.
  • Own and manage administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, work with outlook calendar to secure spaces, responses to our Facilities email inbox for events inquiries, and other events projects as needed.
  • Look around corners to find opportunities to improve and raise the Chewy bar.
  • Proactively coordinate the format and execution of events with internal Chewy stakeholder teams. You will coordinate and drive onsite events based on the nature of the celebration, plan all logistics for our FLL7 office events, set the bar for the planning and execution with our other 3 Chewy Hubs (BOS1, SEA1, MSP2).
  • Over-communicate and set expectations on both ends (stakeholder and internal Facilities team managers), to deliver a pawesome experience for our Chewy teams and network partners.
What You'll Need
  • 3-5 years working in a customer-centric environment, with a sense of urgency and commitment to prompt response and action.
  • Demonstrate clear communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to travel 30% of the time to our other Chewy Hubs.
  • Adapt well to changing plans and priorities, comfortable dealing with a fast-paced environment and ambiguity.
  • Be a self-starter, have critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate at depth and live in the details, with an all-around problem-solving skill.
  • Deep intellectual curiosity and strong willingness to work in a team.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills with an appetite to become familiar with specific programs and software.
