The Marketing Event Coordinator is responsible of planning various events within their designated region with the objective of facilitating lead generation for Sales staff.

Responsibilities And Duties – Marketing Events Coordinator

• Build event vendor roster for events in designated region.
• Negotiate pricing with vendors for event related services like décor, catering, and entertainment.
• Event planning and coordination of various community, sales site, clinic, broker, and health education events within designated region.
• Partner with internal staff (i.e., Sales, Patient Services and Operations) for the coordination and implementation of events. Includes consistent communication with Regional Sales Manager for scheduling and participation of Community Outreach Specialists at events.
• Entry of all events in project management, CRM, and scheduling apps utilized within the Marketing department.
• Collaborate with internal Sales staff and external Insurance Brokers and Agents in identifying event opportunities and negotiating budget based and fair split cost structures for such events, considering projected ROI.
• Abide by established branding guidelines at all events.

Qualifications And Skills

• Team player
• 1 year of related experience or training
• Good communicator
• Multi-tasker
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Budget management
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred, not required.
• Organized and good steward of time
• Tech savvy; familiarity with Microsoft programs, Smartphones, Tablets, and Sales Marketing, and Project Management apps, Salesforce and Asana primarily.
• Creative and resourceful
