Sr Marketing Manager
Location: San Jose, Calif. (remote possible)
Lightbits is looking for an experienced, pipeline-focused marketing manager to accelerate its momentum and leadership position in cloud data storage. Our ideal candidate brings a proven track record of building and executing marketing programs and fine-tuning digital-first initiatives that hit top-of-funnel goals for B2B SaaS or storage companies. The ideal candidate will mix strategic- and tactical-level activities with operational oversight. The candidate will be confident navigating a multitude of diverse marketing activities in a fast-paced startup environment, a high performer in the midst of tight deadlines and changing requirements, has strong project management and creative skills and has a strong aptitude for analytics and data-driven decision-making. This position reports to the VP of Marketing and will require someone who is self-motivated, can work somewhat autonomously, and is comfortable navigating ambiguous environments.
Responsibilities
●Plan and execute integrated, multi-channel campaigns in support of the company pipeline funnel goals.
●Manage the entire lead lifecycle to include, but not limited to, the company’s marketing automation system (MAS), lead nurturing, lead scoring, and integration of the MAS with the company’s CRM system.
●Plan and manage the company’s digital marketing channels, including the website, social media channels, email programs, SEO/SEM, and advertising. This would include managing a calendar of activities/events and curating content in collaboration with the subject matter experts to support product launches, campaigns, and sales promotions.
●Plan and manage online lead gen activities (e.g., webinars, content syndication programs, PPC) and offline lead gen activities (e.g., tradeshows, roadshows, lunch-and-learns, customer engagement events) to meet the company’s lead generation goals.
●Build reports and dashboards in Salesforce.com to track pipeline funnel metrics, marketing campaign ROI,
●Manage external agencies and media partners, including, but not limited to, negotiating agreements/contracts, developing project timelines, and ensuring deadlines are met on time and on budget.
●Partner closely with sales leadership and BDRs to optimize our systems, workflows, and processes to meet pipeline funnel goals.
●Collaborate across functional roles within the organization (i.e., Product Marketing, Business Development, Solution Engineers, Product Management, and Sales) to curate content and execute campaigns and programs.
●Manage field marketing tradeshow kits and SWAG inventory.
Qualifications
●4+ years of demand gen, lead gen, and digital marketing experience
●Proficiency in Salesforce.com and Marketo is mandatory.
●Domain experience (data storage, SaaS, startup) is preferred.
●BS or BA in Marketing or related field is required.
●Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), is required.
●Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail. Must be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals at all levels within the organization.
