About This Team
You will be a part of the Global Guest Innovation team. The team is responsible for identifying new ways to engage with our guests, globally and across channels. This includes creating new product experiences, developing new store formats, retail concepts and standing up new business models. The team is responsible for everything from market research, strategy, business modelling, operationalization, implementation and evaluation. a day in the life: what you’ll do
  • Develop and lead the Like New core team as well as the extended cross-functional team (incl. people from IT, Digital, P&A, FP&A, Finance, Brand etc.) to ensure a positive, thriving and inclusive culture and successful delivery of work
  • Lead an end-to-end separate business unit within lululemon – from supply to sales, Like New operates as its own business model within lululemon’s greater eco system. As the Like New business is relatively new and the team is small and nimble, this means that the Senior Manager has to be agile, prioritize frequently and wear many hats
  • Optimize inventory position, which means balancing supply (from damages and trade-ins) with demand, keeping as many products in life as possible, reducing write-down costs and balancing short and long term needs
  • Vendor management with other partners that support Like new in optimizing the supply chain. Ensure operational efficiency and flows between Trove and these vendors and monitor vendor performance against expectations
  • Develop a longer-term strategy, including business model optimization, explore and test new growth opportunities, align on market expansion roadmaps, create financial plans and partner with Futures team to create a strategy for how Like New can evolve to fuel our future supply chain by bringing more used items back in our circular eco system
  • Partner with backend white label provider Trove and secure a successful partnership and efficient operations, including developing the product and tech roadmaps that enables desired guest experience, growth and health of the business
  • Enrollment to, and alignment from, senior leaders and drive the evolution of Like New cross-functionally. This includes being accountable for quarterly Steer Co’s, QBR, reporting suite and meeting week material for CEO when needed
  • Manage and optimize in year US resale business and ensure Like New is delivering on its monthly, quarterly and annual financial goals, which means optimizing conversion, traffic, product assortment, inventory position and operating costs
Qualifications
  • Previous budget responsibility and team leadership, demonstrated accountability for KPIs
  • Min 8 years’ work experience from similar roles focusing on strategy, start-up, operations and scaling. Management consulting experience or complex program management required. Experience from recommerce is a bonus
  • Experience from leading cross-functional teams and vendors, influence other peoples work and priorities that are outside formal reporting lines
  • Experience from launching and scaling a new business model and set up infrastructure to deliver on new ways of working

Compensation And Benefits Package
For California Applicants: lululemon’s compensation offerings are rooted in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position in Califorina is from  $100,000 - 130,100   annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our competitive Total Rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus offering subject to program eligibility requirements.
