Job Description

Job Title: New Product Introduction Manager - Aerospace Machining


Summary:

The New Product Introduction Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the successful introduction of new products into the aerospace machining market. This includes developing and executing a comprehensive NPI plan, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring that new products meet all customer and regulatory requirements.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development and testing of new products to ensure that they meet all customer and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive NPI plan that aligns with the company's overall business goals
  • Continuously improve the NPI process
  • Communicate with customers throughout the NPI process to ensure that their needs are met
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with new product introductions
  • Lead and coordinate a cross-functional team of engineers, machinists, and quality assurance professionals
  • Track and report on NPI progress to senior management
  • Work with suppliers to ensure that new products are manufactured on time and to specifications


Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in new product development or a related field
  • Experience with aerospace machining or a related industry
  • Prior experience in CNC Machining is required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
