The challenge


The Digital Strategy & Solutions (DSS) group works with C-level leadership at Adobe’s Enterprise customers to build a shared vision for digital transformation, align on the Adobe & customer partnership roadmap, prove out the business and technical case, and drive the enterprise sales motion. We advise on strategies for customer-experience transformation, digital innovation and much more. Our engagements employ Adobe’s digital benchmarking capabilities, industry trends, customer-journey mapping, technical capabilities assessments, proof-of-concepts and demos to deliver high-impact pre-sales activities. Today, Adobe is at the forefront of enabling our customers’ digital transformation and new experience-led business models.


What You’ll Do


As the Sr. Manager of Strategy & Operations for DSS, you will work closely with our Vice President and senior business leaders to inform the DSS business go-to-market and drive the annual operating model. Through these efforts, you will provide the operations, measurement, talent and communication vehicles necessary drive the successful execution of our business strategy. You will be instrumental in defining DSS’ core processes, solving complex problems, and understanding the impact of the programs rolled out in response.


DSS go-to-market strategy


  • Collaborate with DSS senior leadership team to define the annual go-to-market strategy for the business, which includes delivery of planning models and data driven performance insights to inform decisioning
  • Partner to drive launch of strategy, charter and roles across the DSS ecosystem, which includes successful planning and orchestration of DSS All Hands broadcasts
Strategic insights & analytics


  • Produce data driven insights to address critical business questions and inform leadership action
  • Develop, maintain and continuously innovate on reporting tools and systems
  • Develop centralized data and reporting strategy to track go-to-market impact, progress against annual commitments, and optimization opportunities
  • Collaborate to set measurable targets against the annual objectives and key results


Operational model


  • Maintain the quarterly operational calendar that drives all strategy, operations, communication and talent activity throughout the quarter
  • Define the inspection and collaboration processes necessary to track and achieve objectives and key results
  • Set the framework for talent development in close partnership with DSS’ HR business partner and drive its execution with DSS core leaders
  • Drive a regular cadence of business partner collaboration with critical roles including HR, finance, recruiting, sales operations, and enablement
  • Drive leadership meetings, run the business sessions and quarterly business reviews
  • Define and execute the DSS team’s cadence of internal and external communication to ensure key messages on strategy, priorities and performance are cascaded to team and stakeholders
What you need to succeed


  • Ability to shift and evolve programs to align with executive priorities while keeping team morale high
  • Strong executive presence with demonstrated ability to influence strategy, decision making & engage field functions
  • Senior experience in an Enterprise Software-as-a-Service organization leading a Strategy & Operations team or a comparable function (e.g., Go-to-Market Strategy, Pre-sales, a global Center of Excellence)
  • Exceptional program management skills; ability to oversee and ensure the success of multiple programs at a time
  • Highly collaborative and empathic leadership style with a talent for building relationships across teams and effecting organizational change
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • A high degree of intellectual curiosity and ability to absorb new concepts quickly.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $119,400 -- $244,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.


At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).


In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
