Okta is in profitable growth mode. We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated Senior Financial Analyst who will be a key player in, and is truly excited about, driving and effectively scaling Okta's rapid growth. This person will report to the Sr. Finance Manager, Corp FP&A and will be partnering with Finance leadership to ensure accurate quarterly forecasts of Okta’s financial statements. This highly visible role is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate that wants to be part of a dynamic FP&A organization that is operating at an accelerated pace and scaling for the future.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated team player who is capable of driving action cross-functionally and comfortable operating at all levels. This person is outstanding at financial modeling and analysis, comfortable with ambiguity, and understands the strategic big picture while skillfully managing the financial details.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Apply advanced PowerPoint skills to create visually impactful slides for executive and Board-level presentations, with a focus on aligning and enhancing the format/content
• Cross-collaborate effectively with partner organizations
• Facilitate company planning processes for all corporate medium-term forecasts covering the financial statements and key metrics
• Be a key member of the team delivering a flawless earnings process
• Manage Okta’s quarterly consolidated forecast process; provide visibility and decision-making support to the CFO, Investor Relations, and FP&A leadership
• Leverage and improve current systems to increase productivity and accuracy of the FP&A team
• Complete frequent ad-hoc projects to enable management and business decisions
• Demonstrate analytical prowess, strategic thinking, and a command of the details
• Maintain and improve detailed financial models that track and analyze key metrics and their impact on the company's overall performance

Skills Required:

• Financial and Business Acumen: Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate as well as distill data into actionable information to drive results
• Presentation Skills: Effective in a variety of presentation settings including one-on-one, small, and large groups
• Influential: Ability to influence at all levels, including the most senior executives in the company, with a demonstrated aptitude to work effectively within a matrixed team across multiple functional areas, and be assertive in driving successful management strategies
• Relationship Management: Ability to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners, inclusive of senior members of management
• Analytical Skills: Ability to work independently, think objectively, and interpret meaningful and insightful narratives from both quantitative as well as qualitative data
• Problem Solving & Decision Quality: Ability to apply rigorous logic and sound methods to solve multi-faceted problems with effective solutions
• Execution driven: Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision and accuracy

Job Requirements:

• Able and willing to come into SF HQ as needed (1-2x per week)
• Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills
• Prior experience in a high-growth global high tech/software/SaaS organization is a plus
• Anaplan and Tableau experience is a plus
• Advanced Excel/GSheets and PowerPoint/GSlides skills are required
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including expertise presenting analyses to senior leadership
• 3+ years of experience in FP&A, with at least 1 year of Corporate FP&A is a plus

Below is the annual On Target Compensation (OTE) range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual OTE, which is inclusive of base salary and incentive compensation, will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable) and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual OTE range for this position for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:
$106,000—$143,000 USD
The OTE range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between:
$117,000—$158,000 USD
