We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Permanent Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to join our team in the non-profit industry. This is a unique opportunity for a financial expert who is ready to take the helm of a multifaceted role that combines strategic planning, budgeting, and financial analysis. This position requires a hands-on leader who will provide financial insights, drive business performance, and influence strategic decision-making across the organization. Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
• Generate comprehensive financial reports and present findings to senior management, providing strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial efficiency and profitability.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
• Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards using Power BI to provide real-time visibility into business performance.
• Analyze complex financial data and extract relevant insights to support business decisions.
• Conduct variance analysis to understand trends, risks, and opportunities in the business.

Qualifications

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or a CPA is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to influence strategic direction and drive business performance.
• At least 3 years of public accounting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Expert knowledge of Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
• Strong proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Extensive experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis
