The salary for this position is $64,500.00 - $86,570.00 dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities are to account and analyze station financial performance including month-end close and variance explanations for division roll-up, ensure proper financial controls, and administer invoice and procurement processes, receivables processes, cash management processes and many other station-specific procedures. Provides planning and administrative services to internal customers, including Hub Leadership Team and front-line employees.
- Assist in special projects as deemed necessary
- Prepare variance analysis of expenditures and roll-up to corporate finance
- Prepare monthly reports for SFO Airport Operations (AO) department heads
- Analyze current and past financial data, identify trends, and update forecasts
- Conduct monthly review of OPEX accounts; compile reclasses and accrual journal entries
- Perform finance administration tasks, including accounts payable/receivable processing
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget for SFO Airport Operations
- Provides support for hub specific CAPEX requests. Initiating requests for capital projects, providing supporting documents and tracking ideas to ensure projects’ approval.

Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- United will consider applicants with criminal histories consistent with the Fair Chance Ordinance
- Ability to manage multiple projects, as well as large amounts of data with competing priorities
- 3+ years of financial and accounting experience
- Proficient use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), ability to compile Pivot Tables and VLookup’s using Excel
- Comfortable knowledge of general ledger and general ledger coding
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience in Finance or Accounting.
- Possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic with the ability to work in a team setting as well as independently in a fast-paced, dynamic, growing, and often ambiguous environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Oracle, EPM, OBIEE, and Hyperion
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
- Minimum of two years of Airport Operations experience
- MBA or CPA preferred
- Coupa, Concur, and Plan Plus knowledge
