Senior Education Specialist - Remote

Responsibilities

Performs a full range of professional duties leading the identification, develop, design, and implementation of curriculum (programs, courses, content, and materials). Works collaboratively to design and implement educational activities including curriculum, continuing education, product and professional development within a collaborative practice framework. Conducts assessment of customer need, and evaluates curriculum success. Collaborates on day-to-day business components related to learning activities, including items such as marketing, financial management, and accreditation compliance, where appropriate.

This position is 100% remote work; can work from anywhere in the U.S.

**Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree plus seven years relevant experience required. Master’s Degree in education, product development, instructional design or a related field preferred. Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, organizational and self-directive skills. Experience with learning management systems or similar digital learning platforms. Demonstrated success in curriculum design and development. Digital learning knowledge and experience preferred. Knowledge of latest adult learning theory and practice. Business or educational product development and management experience preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of relevant educational content and appropriate methods of delivery of education for adult learners. Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with a variety of people, including internal and external stakeholders. Ability to work with others to accomplish goals through collaboration and coordination. Strong organizational skills and self-initiative; patience and the ability to effectively coach and mentor others.
