Job Description

Health Education Specialist I, #2023-00082 ($30.39 - $36.93)

Calaveras Public Health is seeking passionate individuals to join our team as a Health Education Specialist I/II. These positions work closely with internal and external partners to help achieve the Division and Agency’s goals and mission as well as coordinate the important work being done in a rural, local health jurisdiction. These positions are in-person and located in San Andreas, California.

Health Education Specialist I

Under the direction of the Public Health Director or designee, plans and implements community health education or promotion program activities and performs other related work as required. The Health Education Specialist I is a journey level class and works with limited independence and initiative for decision making.
