Position Overview:


This Senior Distribution Sales Manager role exists to manage TV and Audio sales as part of the merged Mobile, CE, and Display organization. The rep manages business with a targeted sales plan of $218M in 2023 across B2C Home Entertainment with unique P&L and KPIs in a “One Samsung” customer approach.


Role And Responsibilities


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Work with a team of external resources optimized to sell by category and vertical
  • Develop a “One Samsung” sales relationship per account
  • Manage best in class SCM practices including but not limited to CPFR and joint business planning
  • Deliver 6-10X ROI on MDF investments aligned to each category and divisional goals
  • Account responsibility is Ingram Micro
  • Drive MP and YoY growth in TV and Audio category


Skills And Qualifications


Background/Experience Required:


  • Understanding of the principles and application of supply chain management
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience including Military / Civil Service
  • Knowledge of/understanding IT categories such as PC, networking, software and services, professional displays, and consumer displays
  • Indirect people management (funded heads)
  • 8-10 plus years of experience in T1 -> T2 sales
  • Develop a “One Samsung” sales relationship per account
  • Experience in the Consumer TV and Audio market is preferred
  • Experience at a major CE / IT vendor
  • Preferred candidate will reside in New Jersey or Arizona.
  • Experience with various channel routes to market: e-tail, National and Regional Retail, Solution Providers, National Solution Providers, and Integrators
  • Drive MP and YoY growth in Consumer TV and Audio category
  • Having worked at or sold to a major IT distributor
  • Experience in CRM, business analytics, and data mining to develop target accounts
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50% within the United States
  • Financial acumen including but not limited to P&L management, channel margin, trailing credits, & product lifecycle (PLC) based price management
  • Work with a team of internal (funded head) resources optimized to sell by category and vertical
  • Manage best in class SCM practices including but not limited to CPFR and joint business planning
  • Deliver 6-10X ROI on MDF investments aligned to each category and divisional goals
