Senior Director Of Admissions

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Incumbent is responsible for assisting the campuses in attaining admissions goals, in particular inquiry conversion to enrollments, and enrollments to new student matriculation at plan. Incumbent must assure that the University philosophy is considered in carrying out the duties and responsibilities of this position: quality services to clients; development, growth, involvement, and recognition of employees; sound economic principles; and maintenance of an environment which is conducive to innovation, positive thinking and expansion.

KEY JOB ELEMENTS:

• Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures, ethical standards, and compliance with all federal, state and accreditation requirements.
• Establishes forecasts and achieves new student start rate and readmissions plans.
• Partners with other EC members, faculty and staff to assure a vibrant perpetual student recruitment environment.
• Manage school’s admissions budget and monitor inquiry source results and cost effectiveness.
• Generates marketing plans to support inquiry conversion and applicant lock-in.
• Assures adequate staffing levels and productivity through effective personnel management. This includes but is not limited to selection and hiring of employees coupled with their being training, developed, motivated, and effectively managed. Further, the Sr. Director of Admissions is responsible for providing the admissions team with regular feedback, observation and support; monthly, quarterly and annual performance reviews; new hire and veteran training; turnover prevention.
• Responsible for achieving conversions of inquiry to applicant; and applicant to new student standards.
• Responsible for local inquiry generation and database marketing.
