Marcolin Brand Director is responsible for developing and executing business and marketing plans to enhance the brand/s and drive growth. Executing the global brand’s strategy, marketplace positioning, and communication plans across all channels of trade and accounts. The Brand Director will coordinate with the sales team to make certain that the brand message is incorporated into the company’s selling and marketing materials. Their ultimate objective is to increase company sales and profits by implementing effective brand campaigns and events in marketing and media materials. Their duties will involve training, delivering presentations, and developing strategies to address potential obstacles to company sales and profit growth. We are seeking an experienced individual to help us increase the effectiveness and impact of our sales & marketing organization.
Experience
- Ability to work independently and effectively in teams to meet deadlines in an environment with multiple demands, shifting priorities and change management
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office platforms
- Demonstrated ability to use data to answer questions and identify growth opportunities or sales process improvements
- Min 5+ years of successful experience in marketing or brand Management. Sport/ performance background recommended.
- Selling and analytical skills, demonstrated abilities to train others, leadership skills
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, verbal public speaking and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and demonstrated work experience
- Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new tools
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency to meet deadlines
Here's what you'll do:
- Follow up to ensure high levels of cross functional communication and transparency.
- Analyze sales statistics to help create GTM and promotional events that to increase revenue, sales growth and profitability.
- Manage marketing budgets including advertising, training, promotional and commercial plans.
- Interact with internal and external clients, assisting them with many aspects of products and sales, customer planning and visits, budget planning, setting KPI’s, weekly and monthly sales forecast and quarterly business updates.
- Identify opportunities to grow door productivity, develop and customize global tools to help with new brand sell in
- Investigate brand & competitive trends/ results and identify commercial opportunities, strategies and & action plans to improve sales and increase market share.
- Train, assist and support the sales force with achieving sales quotas, helping with independent dealer penetration and successful customer appointments that lead to product placement and sales.
