Responsibilities:

  • Assist with product and on-site photography to support the creation of materials.
  • Support the corporate marketing team and field marketing organizations with creative for global and regional fulfillment pieces.
  • Establish internal sales team as an authority with the customer through highly creative, interactive content that communicates value proposition simply and effectively.
  • Uphold and elevate the corporate identity ensuring consistency in all materials produced in accordance with the corporate leadership team.
  • Assist with special projects as needed — may include, but not limited to, executive presentations, website, etc.
  • Provide expertise to marketing department regarding best practice of visual communication.
  • Serve as lead graphic designer for the development, design, and creation of both digital and print marketing materials.
  • Interface with outside agencies to review concept designs and usage.
  • Create engagement both internally and with customers directly via digital, event, and sales channels.
  • Responsible for leading and managing the branding, graphic design, creative production global function.
  • Manage digital assets and file structure with established naming conventions.
  • Manage outside vendors providing digital, print and design-related services.
  • Stay current with technology and researching the latest design trends and emerging media.
  • Ensure brand messaging and visual identity effectively represents targeted positioning in the market —at corporate, product, and campaign levels.


Qualifications

  • Is well versed in best practices for developing high impact digital creative and has a proven track record in successfully delivering digital/web design projects.
  • Highly collaborative and influential leader, strong track record of driving results through effectively partnering with peers in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Excellent organization, program, and process management skills. Hands-on leadership and detail/process orientation.
  • Expert in design principles and best practices for digital and print applications (typography, color theory, grids, etc.)
  • Experience attracting, hiring, retaining, and developing high-performing teams and individuals. A motivating executive capable of instilling excitement and inspiring others
  • 10+ years of experience in brand strategy, creative production, and content creation for the public and private sectors, with a heavy emphasis on public sector exposure
  • Experience working in a global organization and satisfying the creative requirements of different regional and cultural environments.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills. Passionate about pushing the boundaries of user-centric design. Believe that details can take good to great. Great sense of humor.
  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an agency or advertising setting and a proven track record of execution and delivery of solutions with strong concept.
  • Extensive experience managing projects, vendors, and teams.
  • Minimum of 5 years of design experience and 1-3 years supervisory experience.
  • Possess a comprehensive knowledge of multimedia production methods and experience building files for digital and print.
  • Creative, can project how potential ideas may play out in the marketplace; is good at bringing the creative ideas of others to market and has good judgment about which creative ideas and suggestions will work.
  • Demonstrated interest and ability to stay current on industry trends in design and marketing analytics.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), HTML5 and CSS, and JavaScript knowledge a plus.
  • Ability to manage a team and their work to ensure deadlines, quality expectations and desired speed to market are met.
