Role Summary
Cyderes is looking for a motivated, dedicated, creative, and experienced Senior Director of Agile Delivery to join our Managed Services Engineering team. We are looking for someone with a passion for Agile software development and program management, fostering a culture of collaboration, experience in senior leadership, and someone who possesses a strong background in Agile, Scrum, and other program management methodologies.
Additionally, project management background to facilitate Engineering and other Managed Services projects, meet deadlines outlined on our Platform Engineering roadmap, manage a product backlog, communicate with developers, and work with internal and external stakeholders to receive feedback.
Primary Responsibilities

• Build and lead team(s) of Agile Delivery Leads & Agile Delivery Team Leads in maturing their craft of Agile by training, coaching and developing their skillsets
• Own Manage Services impacting project(s)
• Mentor project team members and stakeholders using appropriate tools and techniques to increase and maintain commitment to organization strategies
• Prioritize features with stakeholders based on business need
• Measure development velocity, tech debt, and estimation statistics to enable better business decisions
• Work with internal, cross-functional teams to manage project(s) that have conflicting needs and priorities
• Act as a subject matter expert and execution leader, with leaders cross functionally, to improve the practices associated with feature requirements, roadmap planning, ticket submissions, and documentation to enable effectively deliver business strategy
• Additional responsibilities may include:
• Provide leadership and oversight of Engineering processes, managing the practice of standard implementation processes
• Balance new features, improvements, and bugfixes to ensure a high velocity and a stable product
• Drive on going cross-functional improvements to support new products, programs, projects and enhancements
• Communicate project risks, progress, launches, and retrospectives for projects managed
• Establish best practices, processes and procedures for project management and ensure continuous improvement across Product and Engineering
• Diplomatically disagree and align when dealing with different stakeholders

Requirements

• Proven Performance Management
• 3 to 5 years working with Git and CI/CD tools (Spinnaker, Jenkins, GitHub, etc)
• Problem solving/analysis and critical thinking abilities
• Understanding of Development Methodologies/Frameworks (Scrum, Agile, Waterfall, Kanban)
• 2+ years resource budget planning
• Jira Admin experience
• Proven ability to work well with others in challenging circumstances
• 6+ years practicing Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc)
• 4+ years product management
• Conflict resolution and stakeholder management experience
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Business acumen and strong facilitation skills
• Ability to present technical material
• Effective/situational leadership abilities
• Strategic planning/organization skills
• Ceritified Scrum Master
• Risk management knowledge
• Advanced in Project Planning Software
• 6+ years working with in development/engineering field
