A large, world-class company located in the Dayton area is hiring immediately for a Business System Analyst that has experience with experience working on projects that involve modifications and/or development of business systems and applications that are developed in-house.

Responsibilities:

• Documents system requirements, defines scope and objectives and creates system specifications that drive system development and implementation.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned.
• Serves as the ultimate facilitator between business and IT in truly understanding the business needs and plays a key role in the overall management and success of the effort through the project lifecycle.
• Designs new business functionality by analyzing requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities and writing specifications.
• Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures.
• Functions as a liaison between users, business units and IT.
• Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation and training users.
• Leads and participates with departmental teams and key stakeholders, gathering information to better understand their business processes and needs, to increase efficiency, productivity, and functionality through automation and process enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated expertise with Word, Excel and other MS Office suite application.
• Demonstrated ability to gather requirements oversight.
• Experience working on fairly significant projects that involve analyzing the systems/applications and their functionality, designing processes, developing project plans, BRD’s etc.
• Solid Knowledge of SQL, MS Excel, and Power BI, MS Visio tools. .Net is a plus.
• Experience with MS SharePoint, SQL, Power BI, MS Visio tools. .Net and business process management tools preferred
• Project experience that involves modifications and/or development of business systems and applications that are developed in-house.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to research and resolve issues.
• Years of related experience in business and or information technology systems analysis or support.
• Min. 4-6 years exp in S/W, IT support, Business analyst, and Systems analyst areas.
