Senior Business Analyst, Finance

Greenhouse is looking for a Senior Business Analyst, Finance to join our Business Analytics team!

Reporting to the VP of Corporate Development & Analytics, you’ll play a key role in architecting, building, and analyzing our financial data to deliver insights and recommendations that drive strategic initiatives for the company. The Business Analytics team is responsible for developing standard BI and analytics practices across the company. In this role, you'll partner closely with our FP&A and Accounting teams to enhance and automate our reporting capabilities. You'll partner with department leadership to build and automate compelling and accurate reporting and visualizations to enable senior leadership.

What You’ll Do

• Build technical requirements and collaborate with our Data Platform team to ensure they’re built and maintained
• Collaborate with stakeholders, executives, and decision-makers to prioritize, design, and fulfill data needs
• Partner with stakeholders across the organization by educating them on to interpret and drive insights with data
• Assist in establishing governance, best practice operational and ad-hoc processes for data capture changes
• Drive the scoping and design of our core financial reporting architecture in partnership with FP&A and Accounting

You should have

• Experience partnering cross-functionally to identify and solve business issues
• Experience in cloud computing infrastructure (Snowflake, Redshift, etc)
• Experience building models to support analysis (e.g. using DBT)
• Experience building dashboards and analyzing large data sets to solve problems
• Experience in finance analytics and reporting
• In depth knowledge and expertise in SQL and BI / analytics tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to translate ambiguous business requirements into complex analyses and actionable insights

• Netsuite, Adaptive, Salesforce experience, a plus
• Experience working in a business, technical, or data analyst role, experience in SaaS, a plus

The national pay range for this role is $99,000 - $159,000 annually. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local cost of labor. Certain roles may be eligible for additional compensation, including stock option awards, bonuses, and merit increases. Additionally, certain roles have the opportunity to receive sales commissions that are based on the terms of the sales commission plan applicable to the role.
