Job Title: Senior BSA Analyst

Location: Downtown, NYC (hybrid)

Salary: 70k – 75k

Stable Downtown Bank seeks a BSA Analyst to join their Team

Responsibilities:

• Works on any other BSA/AML/OFAC task assigned by the seniors.
• Carries out varying levels of research/investigation, depending on the complexity of each alert/case.
• Prepare SARs and submit them to another senior BSA Analyst for review before approval by the BSA Officer and filing with the FinCEN.
• Investigates potentially suspicious activity from account surveillance, branch and departmental escalations, Grand Jury Subpoenas and law enforcement inquiries.
• Focuses on all aspects of the Banks’s BSA / AML / OFAC program and expected to be an effective successor to the BSA Officer
• Takes ownership of individual cases using appropriate case management tools and techniques for a timely disposition.
• Conducts reviews and analysis of alerts generated by the automated transaction monitoring system.
• Carries out enhanced due diligence on high risk customers.

Skillset Requirements:

• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Bachelor degree.
• At least 3 years of relevant BSA/AML experience as a senior BSA analyst, preferably in a community bank.
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
