Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 6 years of recent administrative support experience
  • Must pass a federal background check (SF-85P)
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
  • Ability to provide favorable credit history

Duties Include But Not Limited To


The Administrative Assistant performs complex administrative duties to assist senior officers, managers, and professional members of the Enforcement Division or Regional Office.


  • Arranges video conference meetings, technology set up, and appropriate SEC IT support for teleconferences; prepares and disseminates agendas for meetings; attends meetings to record minutes; schedules appointments and meetings; maintains calendar of meetings and meeting rooms.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Reviews incoming correspondence, assists with managing workflow, prioritizes projects, and reviews the directives given to keep informed of actions taken.
  • Assists with confidential or sensitive issues and information, such as tracking and disseminating internal reports and data, filing such reports, providing initial drafts or correspondence and memoranda or proofreading drafts, gathering information from the public and senior staff for action by SEC personnel.
  • Arranges travel for SEC personnel, submits travel authorizations, submits travel vouchers for reimbursement, and updates travel budget spreadsheet.

  • Ability to anticipate program support needs and deal effectively with all sources in accomplishing objectives
  • Ability to research, analyze, and summarize data and information
  • Ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work well in a changing environment, under pressure, on short-notice, and take appropriate timely action.
