Summary
As a Account Management Senior Specialist, you thrive on applying your deep understanding of our customer's business strategies and technology needs, playing an integral role in unlocking the potential of business opportunities across the nation. You partner with Telstra's most strategic customers to grow their business, acting as their trusted advisor and nurturing the health of our customer relationships. In doing so you identify high-value, high-profit sales solutions that directly contribute to Telstra's growth. You flourish off building meaningful and lasting relationships, with collaboration and influencing skills critical for success in this role.
The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced business development-oriented salesperson who has a deep understanding of customer business strategies, global network technology needs, and Telstra's services and products. They possess strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, as well as knowledge of industry trends and competitive products. They are capable of leveraging existing networks and contacts to identify and cultivate new business opportunities and can develop and deliver sales proposals and presentations. They have the ability to analyze customer portfolio performance and make actionable recommendations to drive revenue and profitability and can manage customer escalations and coordinate events and activities.
Responsibilities
Establish, grow, and maintain strategic customer relationships through deep knowledge of their business and Telstra's services/products that deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive profitability.
Utilize market intelligence and industry trends to develop and deliver innovative solutions and services to customers that meet the customer's needs, and Telstra's capabilities and generate growth for the business.
Manage and coordinate customer events and activities (e.g. client visits, customer forums, workshops, etc) to strengthen relationships and position Telstra as a trusted advisor.
Proactively analyze customer portfolio performance to identify areas of potential growth and improvement, and present actionable recommendations to customers to drive revenue and profitability.
Develop, deliver, and manage sales proposals, presentations, and other sales materials in order to effectively communicate Telstra's capabilities and solutions to customers.
Generate new business leads through networking, industry events, and other research methods. Negotiate and manage customer contracts, and monitor and track customer account performance. Maintain knowledge of competitive trends, products, and services in order to remain competitive in the sales process.
Take ownership of customer escalations, driving resolution and understand customer impact, and communicate outcomes to customers in an ongoing proactive manner.
Leverage existing contacts and networks to identify and cultivate new business opportunities. Utilize customer relationships and professional networks to build referrals and increase customer base.
Apply professional expertise and knowledge of Telstra's capabilities, market insights, and a deep understanding of the customer's business strategy to effectively influence and partner with customers to identify
new business opportunities.
Authentically engage and collaborate with stakeholders across Telstra (e.g. Business Development Managers, Solution Specialists, Functional Specialists) to identify, qualify and drive portfolio growth opportunities, seeking support, direction and insights in customer solutions in order to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Salary Range:
125000 USD- 150000 USD + Eligible to receive a discretionary bonus of 66.67% at-risk component.
