THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking a talented ScrumMaster III who acts as a servant leader to standing development teams to deliver high quality working software. They work in partnership with project teams to deliver project objectives. To improve quality and increase software delivery throughput, they collaborate with various stakeholders and user communities to learn and implement best practices. They also perform peer-to-peer coaching, training and mentoring to improve process competencies across multiple standing teams. Person will have expert knowledge of one or multiple areas of industry standard technology, as well as knowledge and experience in financial services, debit and credit card processing, and finance technology.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Excellent facilitation and organizational skills.
- 5-8 years’ experience with agile practices, patterns and techniques.
- Excellent understanding of concepts of project planning and project management techniques to assist in small projects and/or group initiatives.
- 5-8 years’ experience collaborating with other departments and IT to develop business cases associated with new project requests.
- Exceptional communication, teamwork and influencing skills that foster a collaborative and continuous-improvement environment.
- Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams.
- Demonstrated knowledge of large program/project management and scaled Agile methodologies preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of coaching development teams in organizational environments in which Scrum is not yet fully adopted and understood.
- 3+ years’ experience training and mentoring others in ScrumMaster tasks and responsibilities.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps, Project, Office and Visio.
- 5-8 years’ experience serving as key liaison to other departments that have specific business functions.
- Ability to influence a culture of working as partners, communicating openly and honestly, demonstrating excellence, and championing change.
- Strong critical / analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects, activities and tasks under time constraints.
- 5-8 years’ experience in Agile techniques such as User Stories, ATDD, TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games etc.
- 5-8 years’ experience documenting, analyze and assess current business processes and underlying systems / applications.
- Ability to evolve into a subject-matter expert who can easily liaise between IT and other departments.
- 5-8 years’ experience playing the ScrumMaster role for a software development team.
- Ability to listen, understand, and respond to external and internal customers’ needs in a timely manner.

- Ability to effectively interface with staff at all levels.
- Excellent ability to lead, train, mentor and help others grow in the careers.
- ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or Certified Product Owner (CSPO) Certification.
- Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices.
- High energy level, adaptive and a strong team player with a good work ethic.
- 5+ years’ effective planning, scheduling, coordinating medium to large projects, meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques.
- Ability to work the time necessary to complete projects or meet deadlines.
- Ability to think analytically to solve problems individually and in a team environment.
- 5+ years’ SQL skills and experience with Sequel Database Query Analyzer.
- Understand core systems, applications and technical platforms.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Ability to become deeply immersed and knowledgeable about core business functions, processes and workflows associated with assigned business areas and projects.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality pertaining to non-public business, financial and technological information, plans or data.
- 5-8 years’ experience understanding the relationships, dependencies and impact of neighboring business functions.
- Working knowledge of a variety of technologies and platforms, including legacy midrange, client / server and web services.
- Possess high motivation and self-direction, sound problem solving skills, decision making and multi- tasking skills.
REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- 5-8 years’ experience as a ScrumMaster or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related major, or comparable work experience.
For California, Colorado and New York Applicants: In accordance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this position is between:
$83,000.00 - $107,000.00Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
