Job Description

**Must sit in Charlotte Metro Area**


Our top utility client is looking for a Project Controls Specialist who specializes in the development and maintenance of resource-loaded schedules using a scheduling tool.


:

  • Develop advanced skills and to have the ability to work independently, with guidance limited to unusual or complex projects or issues.
  • Responsible for performing complex aspects of individual project estimating, scheduling, change documentation and cost control while reporting up to program or portfolio level with minimal supervision
  • Responsible for preparation and maintenance of project schedules from a Level 1 summary to a work order detailed level in some cases
  • Identify problems, develop solutions and take actions to resolve



Qualifications:

  • Experience with Software such as MS Project, Primavera, Business Objects, Passport, MS Office Suite, Prolog, Visio, Powerplant, Emax, PeopleSoft
  • Graduation from a four-year college or university
  • Proficient in project controls principles.
  • Years of project controls experience.
