The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for on-time wholesale delivery, while maintaining quality assurance due to the sensitivity of the product. This individual will be expected to implement process solutions and drive day-to-day execution of logistics processes. This person will be the main point of contact for management and sales representatives regarding deliveries and issues. Additionally, they will be responsible for managing the wholesale deliveries via our in house support team as well as third party couriers. The Supervisor will work directly with the Distribution team to ensure that all orders are accurate, packed and ready for on time delivery.

Role Objectives:

  • Assist with gathering and analyzing data/reporting for Logistics.
  • Assist with direct to customer logistics to ensure all bulk orders are delivered.
  • Uphold a highly organized department with all products and supplies properly stored.
  • Maintain the highest levels of customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Daily research to verify imperfect deliveries: shipping errors, miss picks, etc.
  • Keep track of supplies as necessary for logistics and alert the Administrator if anything is needed.
  • Ability to learn and navigate the Dynamics ERP and METRC systems to set up and oversee all transfers in and out of the facility.
  • Oversee day-to-day logistics and operations for their department.
  • Ensure all transfers are compliant and leave the facility at the highest quality.
  • Communicate with sales representatives on status and the resolution of inventory availability, backorders, pendings, suspended orders, and packing status.

Experience and Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • 3 years in a Logistics or Distribution management production environment.
  • Highly detail oriented and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in creating, analyzing, and maintaining SOPs.
  • Self-starter who works well under limited direction. Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative and drive.
  • Strong analytical skills with competency in warehouse management and order processing systems.
  • Team player, experience in working in a highly cross-functional organization.
  • 2 years in a supervisor role. Must have the ability to develop individuals and establish positive team dynamics.
  • Able to forge strong relationships with employees to ensure a positive work environment.
  • Ability to gather and manipulate data to draw conclusions around trends.
  • Solid work ethic, punctual, passionate, positive attitude and willing to go the extra mile to accomplish daily tasks.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, and capable of learning new software.
