Summary
  • Under the direction of the Patient Access Services and Special Projects Director, responsible for overseeing the policies and procedures related to the registration and scheduling of outpatient visits and inpatient medical center services. Properly ensures patient safety regulations are met by coordinating the proper selection of tests/procedures. Coordinates all registration policies and procedures at the point of service. Adheres to all patient and caregiver satisfaction policies set by Mosaic Lifecare.
Duties
  • Oversees the testing and implementation of system upgrades for the scheduling and registration technology.
  • Performs supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s standards and applicable laws. Responsibilities include selecting, training and retaining caregivers; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance, rewarding, coaching and counseling caregivers.
  • Maintains accurate scheduling templates within the scheduling technology to ensure proper scheduling practices are met.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Manages supply and overtime budget to ensure the department stays within budget.
  • Creates and communicates scheduling and registration policy changes to outpatient and inpatient medical center leaders.
  • Collaborates with outpatient and inpatient medical center leaders regarding scheduling and registration policies and procedures for the enterprise.
  • Performs editing and approving for caregiver calendars and clock in updates and/or errors within API.
Qualifications
  • 1 year experience with outpatient scheduling policies.
  • All required education is a minimum requirement. Higher levels of education are acceptable. High School Diploma is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
