Online Tutoring is offered to individual households, as well as over 2,000 public libraries, universities and schools across the country as well as the Department of Defense. Our network of over 3,000 expert tutors has conducted over 16 million sessions. The Princeton Review’s Homework Help provides a quality educational service to millions of students worldwide.
Learning Services - the department which oversees onboarding, recruitment, quality control, and support for our tutors - is seeking an Associate who will contribute to the analytics, forecasting, and scheduling process for our tutors.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position should:
- Be adept enough to meet the varying and sometimes time-sensitive needs of our multitude of client institutions and end-users, both on the customer side and provider side of the staffing equation.
- Have the ability to learn several in-house database tools and reporting modules, as well as our proprietary Classroom software and any adjacent technologies.
- Have completed an undergraduate (4-year) degree program in an accredited US or Canadian university.
- Be well-versed in the use of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Previous experience in schedule coordination either online or in-person, and/or experience with related SaaS platforms is a plus.
- Be a thoughtful, analytically proficient individual with a penchant for efficiency and a working knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and other related assets.
- Possess a level of organization and compartmentalization when processing and analyzing data both historical and current.
Responsibilities:
- Actively contribute and participate with suggestions and solutions both for our end users and for your colleagues which improve our workflow, our scheduling strategies, or our service in general.
- Follow up on Customer Success inquiries to ensure we are meeting the needs of our client institutions.
- Regularly review and analyze KPIs relating to tutor utilization and the client experience such as wait times, quits in queue, and staffing efficiency.
- Coordinate the scheduling of tutors and students utilizing our High Dosage Tutoring service
- Review and follow up with tutors to ensure adequate scheduled appointment coverage across all subjects.
- Assist the Director of Support as needed to forecast upcoming usage and create an effective and efficient schedule for the on-demand tutoring service.
- Monitor our live student queue for a set period each shift, keeping an eye on usage and staffing levels and calling for additional tutor assistance when necessary.
Salary: $47,000 - $50,000 per year, based on a 40 hour work week.
