Job title: Associate – Global Portfolio Analytics

$110,000 – $130,000 (compensate to 2 – 4 years of experience)

Our partner is a privately held investment firm that acquires and grows businesses. With holdings across a broad range of industries, the firm has expanded considerably over the past five years and employs nearly 300 financial professionals in offices across North America and Europe.

The newly created Associate position will provide solid performance analysis for the firm’s varied portfolio of investments. Candidates will have a demonstrated knowledge of fair value methodologies/assumptions, DCF calculations, public company multiples, and precedent transaction multiples to be successful in this role.

Associates or Analysts moving into this space will benefit from exposure to a diverse set of industries and investment structures, gaining first-class knowledge and tangible skills in regard to measuring, improving, and scaling successful businesses across the globe.

Working closely with the Director of Global Portfolio Analytics, the Associate will develop highly marketable modeling techniques that will demonstrate modern leadership and industry expertise in the field of investment valuations.

Note, this is not your average M&A, Transactions, or Corporate Valuations role. The candidate should be able to:

• Provide ad hoc support for other valuation and investment performance related requests
• Interface with internal financial teams in data gathering and analysis as well as external valuation firms
• Calculate performance return metrics (TWR, IRR, MOIC, etc.) for private capital portfolios
• Provide valuation related support to the enterprise FP&A for the AOP and multi-year planning process
