Job Description

SUMMARY

Have you always wanted to define the sales foundations and launch go-to-market for an innovative, category-defining product? Cloudwall is hiring a Sales Representative who will be responsible to drive our early go-to-market. Your primary role will be to acquire, qualify and close sales opportunities for our portfolio risk platform, Serenity, working in close collaboration with the product delivery team to shape our product for client needs. You should have a demonstrated, hands-on track record working with high-touch clients in small to medium-sized firms, with a systematic approach to prospecting, qualifying leads and running the full sales process end-to-end. In terms of territory we will consider candidates for both the U.S. and EMEA for this foundational first sales hire.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales update reports
  • Develop a deep knowledge of our portfolio risk management platform, Serenity
  • Provide support for client on-boarding journey, identify ways to improve on processes and opportunities to drive product development features that will generate new business
  • Reach sales targets and managing pipeline through setting up qualified meetings with prospective customers and determine action required for prospective customer conversion
  • Manage new customer relationship as well as maintaining and expanding on existing book of business
  • Maintain good client records and build up sales process documentation
  • Collaborate with R&D in ensuring the delivery of appropriate end-to-end solution to client
  • Support contract negotiation with prospect customers, with the appropriate pricing structure suitable for the client requirements
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead to closure of deals

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Excellent organization skills with ability to prioritize and respond to changes accordingly
  • At least 5 years experience in SME sales
  • Must be a self starter and an insatiable hunger to identify, develop and win new business and an urgent curiosity about the pain points of our clients
  • Experience with CRM tools, data analytics and sales & marketing automation
  • University degree in Business, Finance, Communication or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated success in managing and acquiring new & profitable business
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to collaborate well with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical thinking and comfort running a data-driven sales process

SKILLS DESIRED

  • Strong product knowledge of traditional assets (OTC derivatives, FX, Fixed income and Equities) and/or experience in crypto / digital assets
  • Familiarity with MEDPICC or other formal lead qualification processes
  • Experience with Pipedrive CRM
  • Experience selling financial technology to institutional client including hedge funds, family offices and asset managers
