Job Description
Title: Key account manager, North America – Key Retailer Industry


Preferred Work Location: Florida, California, Texas, Louisiana


Our client is the industry leader in pool cleaning robots. Founded in 2021, they have generated over $120M in revenue last year alone. As a round 3 funded and globally successful organization, They are now ready to grow their North American sales team of Key Account Managers to continue their expansion with the world’s largest retail accounts.


You will be in charge of prospecting, qualifying, and closing sales regarding our business with the top retailers in North America. Key Account manager duties will include developing new accounts as the 1 st priority, maintaining existing accounts, and coordinating with the sales team.


A successful retailer-industry account manager should have related work experience in those key retailers as buyer or merchant, familiar with their internal buying process, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, target-driven and result-oriented as well as the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.


Requirements


  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Excellent technical and communication skills
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the retail industry as buyer/merchant role.
  • Minimum of 5 years B2B sales experience
  • Experience creating detailed reports, giving presentations and public speech in trade show and marketing events
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or a related field
  • Familiar with the retail industry buying process and methodology
  • Success-driven and result-oriented with passion
Compensation:


  • Remote/on the road working
  • Medical & dental benefits, 3 weeks of vacation to start and vehicle allowance
  • Competitive base salary ranging between $80-$110k USD dependent on experience and interview performance
  • Additional bonus structure with an OTE ranging from $130-$180k OTE
