About The Role
Calling all accounting enthusiasts! As a Staff Accountant at AOC, you'll play a vital role in bridging the gap between our clients and our exceptional services. In this exciting position, you'll handle weekly accounting tasks for 8-12 clients, ensuring impeccable accuracy and attention to detail while processing accounting packages. Your critical thinking skills and keen eye for detail will make you a valuable asset as you support our General Ledger Accountants and Client Managers. Emphasizing professionalism and fantastic communication skills, you'll skillfully manage multiple client relationships.
Specific Duties Include (but Are Not Limited To)
Engaging in accounts payable processing: inputting invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and preparing payments.
Managing payroll processing: inputting hours, adjusting rates, withholdings, and deductions as instructed.
Skillfully handling daily sales input and reconciliation.
Entering bank transactions and diligently reconciling bank activity and accounts.
Keeping the lines of communication open with clients and colleagues through email, phone, and Zoom.
What We're Looking For
Are you ready to take on the challenge? We're seeking talented individuals with the following qualities:
A minimum of 3 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience.
Strong familiarity with QuickBooks, Excel, and 10-key touch.
Proven experience in handling full cycle AP with a substantial volume of invoices (500 invoices or more per week).
Expertise in processing payroll through systems like ADP & Paychex.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Master multitasker with exceptional time management abilities.
A natural liaison who can build strong client relationships and provide top-notch customer service.
A passion for the restaurant business or a strong desire to learn about its intricacies.
