Job Description
Our Customer Experience (CX) team is committed to helping customers adopt Asana as both a technology product and a holistic way of working. We are looking for a Renewals Strategy & Operations lead who will be part of the CX Operations & Programs team, a central team that drives an aligned operating and strategic framework across the global CX organization. This role is an essential part of scaling CS and ensuring effective alignment of the organization to the overall company strategy and meeting our business objectives. Y ou will play a pivotal role in the refinement and execution of our Renewals business, working closely with our CX leadership teams to establish process, automation, and communications to allow for the accurate forecasting and refinement of our Renewals business.


This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. Along with most Asanas, you’ll work from this office in person on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays. If you're interviewing for this role, your Talent Acquisition Partner will share more about the in-office requirements.


What You’ll Achieve


Your responsibility is to partner and collaborate with Renewals & CX leadership by driving cross-functional initiatives that deliver impactful results. Including but not limited to:


  • Develop programs that drive toward best in class renewal and retention performance of our Enterprise customer business
  • Support global renewal manager territory assignments and quota setting processes
  • Understand and own Renewals metrics; provide insights through data-driven metrics to improve execution and results
  • Drive a standardized framework and best practices for the Renewals team
  • Help lead and optimize the Renewals ecosystem of tools, processes, and enablement by working closely with our Enterprise Technology partners to scope business requirements and guide implementation of new features
  • Develop, measure, and maintain analytical excellence for our global renewals teams including Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
  • Be a strategic partner to mature the Renewals team through policies, processes, and metrics


Lead projects and initiatives focused on improving productivity and simplifying processes throughout the Renewals organization, representing the Renewals business requirements in key cross-departmental projects


About You


  • BS Degree or higher
  • Experience designing and developing reports, metrics, and dashboards
  • Proactive, problem-solver mindset, focused on continually evolving the way we use data to drive impactful insights
  • Able to tackle very “open ended” topics where you first need to figure out what questions you really need to answer
  • Subject matter expert in CS tools: Salesforce (including CPQ), G-Suite, Tableau, other SaaS tools.
  • Relationship-focused cross-functional collaborator. Able to actively listen, influence, and collaborate at every organization level to achieve results
  • Experience working in high-growth, effectiveness and efficiency focused environments
  • 5+ years of experience in renewals management, sales management or senior field operations at B2B SaaS companies

To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.


For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $182,000 - $232,000 . The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.


In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
