***Remote Steel Senior Buyer Position***

$85,000 - $100,000K Base DOE.

COGS are assisting an industry leading, multi billion dollar, solar energy manufacturing firm as they seek to bring on a driven and ambitious Steel Senior Buyer to join their expanding purchasing and supply chain function.

Although this position is remote by nature, it does have a small domestic travel requirement across the US where you would need to be able spend up to a week on site.

Outline of position:

Working alongside managers in order to ensure the a high level of procurement proficiency in the sourcing and negotiation of contracts pertaining to the Steel spend. Alongside negotiation, this role will require operational skills to assist with cost optimisation and modelling, RFQ processing and analyzing market trends.

• Reporting into: Steel Sourcing Manager
• Industry leading company in the renewable energy sector, providing advanced solar tracking solutions that optimize energy generation in solar power plants.
• Remote setting: 3 weeks remote, 1 week on-site as per required (either from Fremont, CA - Austin, TX - Nashville, TN)

• Salary: up to $100,000 base DOE
• Strong data analysis skills required
• Ideal candidate experience:
