The Loan Servicing Quality Assurance Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring and directing the activities of the quality assurance team to ensure timeliness and accuracy of document procurement. Strive to exceed monthly performance while continuously review current processes for better efficiency. Maximize performance levels of the staff by loan level reviews, consistent feedback, conduct monthly performance reviews and recommend additional training when needed. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The Target Pay range for this position is $70,900 to $82,000.
What you’ll do:
- Develop ad-hoc or operational reports to meet ongoing business requirements.
- Build rapport with leadership teams, deployment leaders and direct reports.
- Utilize Microsoft tools such as Excel and Visio for data analysis, reporting, and process flows.
- Provide monthly reporting to management of KPI’s.
- Handle escalated issues presented by staff. Escalate any concerns as needed.
- Perform data analysis to ensure accuracy before delivery to internal customers.
- Perform ad-hoc reviews as requested by senior leaders as needed.
- Manage Validation in the Issue Management tool to ensure items assigned to the team are completed timely.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Coordinate ad-hoc requests from Counterparty clients to ensure timely delivery.
- Supervise the daily activities of the loan servicing representatives to ensure department meets the monthly performance expectations; including but not limited to workflow direction, facilitation or coordination of staff training.
- Assign workflow to team to ensure timeliness and accuracy of documents needed.
- Identify process efficiencies and adjust work assignments accordingly.
- Review policy and procedures for various business units and recommend changes based on trending exceptions.
- Conduct monthly one-on-one performance assessments with staff to identify strengths and areas of opportunity. Recommend additional training as needed.
What you’ll need:
- Strong knowledge of Mortgage Servicing processes and default timelines.
- Proficient in MS Office with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Five (5) or more years’ experience in banking/Mortgage industry or a minimum of six months of solid acceptable performance as a Loan Servicing Quality Assurance Analyst or prior supervisory experience in the mortgage industry.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, collaboration and technical skills.
