Job Description

Position Title: Incident Management Specialist

Location: Remote but MUST BE LOCAL TO Omaha OR Southlake, TX!

Duration: 18 month contract with extensions up to 2 years

Interview Time: 4/18

SHIFT: Friday-Monday 1:30am-1:30pm


Must-haves:

  • Remedy experience (what they use but any similar ticketing system will work!)
  • Experience solving application issues
  • Experience monitoring alerts and incidents and escalating to the correct point of contact
  • Great communication skills – both verbally and written
  • 3+ years in a command center environment
  • Willing to work Friday-Monday 1:30AM- 1:30PM

Plusses:

  • Tidal or Control-M experience
  • Application Dynamics experience

Day-to-Day: Insight Global is looking for an Incident Management Specialist to join the Command Center team of an enterprise level Financial Services company in either Omaha, Nebraska, Or Southlake, Texas . This will be for their weekend shift, from 1:30am-1:30pm shift Friday-Monday. This person will be working with different internal teams to monitor and restore both application and infrastructure issues. They will monitor and detect incidents by using PowerShell scripting to monitor the health of their server operating system and their databases. This person will also be performing documentation and will verify logging of batch jobs to help solve different job failures.
