The Company

Their patent portfolio is one of the most comprehensive in the flooring industry. It comprises more than 3,100 granted patents and a global license base of over 250 licensees. Their R&D facility is considered to be the world’s most advanced R&D center related to laminate, resilient flooring, wood and wood-powdered based flooring technology.


Essential Job Functions


  • Develop Specification business for new commercial Hardened Wood offering.
  • Drive to Succeed and enjoy uncapped earning potential through hard work.
  • Seek out your own leads, appointments and develop new client base.
  • Be a self-starter – Driven by goals and results.
  • Account Management and business development.
  • Enjoy helping others with their visions and goals.
  • Selling to commercial A&D firms, end-users and flooring contractors.
  • Develop and execute business plans to achieve quarterly sales objectives.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the industry, trends, products, and business channel.
  • Proactively identify and strategize ways to capture new critical accounts.


Qualifications


  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a changing environment.
  • BA/BS Degree and minimum 3+ years of success in B2B Commercial Flooring Sales.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate initiative.
  • Ability to Travel 50% of the time.
  • Excellent problem solving, strategic thinking and negotiation skills.
  • Solid skills in MS Office, CRM, and Math.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • A hunter mentality with the ability to develop rapport and build trusted relationships.
  • Ability to confidently deliver presentations and engage with prospects over the phone and in person.
  • Must have strong relationships with the Commercial A&D firms in the market.
  • Exceptional professional presence and strong business acumen.
