Job Purpose
This is a leadership position responsible for the management and operation of a specific region. Responsible for safety, profitability, management of staff, business development, improving top and bottom-line results while creating a consistently positive experience for new and existing clients. The incumbent must possess a moderate level of technical skill, business acumen and highly developed interpersonal and leadership skills.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for profitability and growth of the business unit.
- Develop, lead, and promote a strong culture and employee engagement.
- Managing/leading the business unit staff.
- Ensuring that the highest level of ethical, safety and quality standards are met within all processes.
- Creating business opportunities with new and existing clients.
- Contributing to corporate strategic growth via the development, coordination, and execution of multiyear business plans.
- Formulating project execution strategies.
Required Qualifications
A combination of an advanced industry knowledge, and substantial leadership experience in:
- Experienced business unit leader with comparable organization.
- Hazardous abatement, including asbestos, lead and black mold, and interior and structural demolition.
- Employee management and leadership development.
- Management of large projects.
- Related technical sales and estimating.

- Bachelor of science in a related technical field preferred.
Work Environment
Operates in a normal office environment, but also requires considerable time in the field. While outside the office, the employee could be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. Must be able to walk across rugged terrain, climb substantial heights, and work over and on water. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The position regularly requires work in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The incumbent occasionally lifts heavy objects, walks, and stands for extended periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls, or carries objects; uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination. The position requires the ability to quickly move arms and legs.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. This position occasionally requires long hours, holidays, and weekend work.
Travel
The role requires moderate travel.
