Qualifications and Competencies

Required Experience

• Strong team leadership skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Works well under pressure
• Strong client relationship skills
• 2+ year supervisory experience
• 5+ years experience in corporate event, concert or broadcast industry.

Ideal Experience

• Functional competencies in event staging, theatrical rigging, sound reinforcement, production lighting, and video systems and displays
• Experience with Vectorworks or other 3D modeling software
• Ability to think strategically and problem solve
• Advanced computer skills, with experience in multiple office and production softwares (i.e. Tessera Remote, ProPresenter, MS Office360, Google Workspace, etc)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Management of on-site production elements, including (but not limited to)
• On-site representative of the company and primary contact person
• Collaborate with Production Managers, Director of Production and at times clients to review technical aspects of a show
• Collaborate with Production Manager to create project equipment lists and diagrams for all shows
• Responsible for overseeing and assisting with scheduling labor

• Coordinate with warehouse for preparation of necessary equipment for each project.

Work Environment

• While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to stop, reach, stand, walk, lift, pull, push, grasp, communicate, and use repetitive motions.
• Extensive travel required (up to 50%)
• The position requires the individual to meet multiple demands from multiple people and interact with the public and other staff.
• Office, warehouse, and show-site duties involved.
• While performing the duties of this position, the employee may frequently lift and/or move 50 pounds of materials.
