AppsFlyer is looking for an experienced financial controller to undertake all aspects of financial management! This includes managing and advising sales teams on financial aspects of deals, performing financial risk management, overseeing corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, statutory reporting (direct and indirect taxes), as well as the development of internal controls. In addition, this Regional Controller will be managing and monitoring the activity with external financial advisors.

What you’ll do:

• Manage a team of 2, Collections & Accounting
• Work with external accountants on the completeness and accuracy of the company’s financial records US GAAP
• Lead the monthly/quarterly/year-end closing process of the US entity based on US GAAP
• Prepare and analyze financial data and internal reports; monitor progress and changes
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Operations, HR, IT & more)
• Manage and comply with statutory reporting requirements and tax filings including coordination with financial external advisors
• Supervise general accounting including journal entries, inter-company reconciliations, and the monthly and annual financial closing process

What you have:

• Extensive work experience with a foreign-invested enterprise
• A hands-on and proactive approach to problem-solving
• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English
• Experience with a month-end / year-end closing process
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• 8+ years of experience in the private sector (in addition to public accounting), preferably within the Tech industry
• Managerial experience
• CPA from a Big 4 accounting firm or other major international firm experience,
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting

Bonus Points:

• Proven experience with reporting to HQ of a global company
• Knowledge of Netsuite, Avalara and TriNet

For our New York City Metropolitan Area candidates, the expected On Target Earnings (OTE) are between $178,500 and $210,000 (including bonus or commission). The offer varies on many factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, interview results, references, etc.
