As a Regional Channel Manager, you will be responsible for Motion Service channel partners’ transactional and recurring revenue growth through discipline cadence planning and execution processes.
You will develop relationships with channel partner key leadership, own a consistent business planning and review process, conduct and support portfolio knowledge training, support pre-sales engagement, collaborate on new growth area ideation, increase channel partner mindshare, and ensure partners’ effectiveness of selling ABB comprehensive Drive and Motor service portfolio.

Your responsibilities
  • Manage results from assigned channel sales targets, plans and KPI’s (Key Performance Indicator)
  • Understand ABB Channels’ go-to-market strategy
  • Implement business plans that lower channel servicing cost and increase speed, efficiency, and end-user experience
  • Implement Channel sales strategy within the assigned sales territory
  • Assist Channel Partners with complex services sales pursuits
  • Identify white space that Channels can address with ABB motion services offerings
  • Provide ABB Motion leadership team feedback and ideas on continuous improvement projects that improve channels’ results with greater efficiency. Be an internal/external advocate for channel community
  • Implement enablement plans that help channel partners achieve their sales targets and plans
Your background
  • Travel >50% within region
  • Experience in the management of both transactional and recurring revenue offerings
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft office platform; familiar with Salesforce CRM or similar
  • Bachelor’s degree required in STEM or Business Administration field with 8 years of relevant experience, OR Associate Degree with 10 years of relevant experience OR high school diploma/GED with 12 years of relevant experience; 5+ years sales experience within a complex industrial distribution business environment preferred
  • Sales and application background in Drives/Motors in the Industrial space, and Product and market knowledge in Drive/Motor Services preferred
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
